PROPOSED PROJECT
This is a proposed kinetic light installation at the “Duomo di Milano.” As both an artist and an architect, this unique and distinctive Gothic cathedral has always intrigued me with its departure from the more conventionally classic facades of the great Gothic cathedrals of Europe.
Gently undulating waves of uplighting encourage a Zen-like state of relaxed calm. All lighting is computer-controlled, energy-efficient LED technology. This is envisioned as a temporary installation to be in place for a period of one to several months.
